April 3, 2013 at 9:42 pmSaw Paul at the Arrow panel at Woneron this past weekend. Was disappointed I didn’t get to met him as they apparently gave out wristbands and I was unaware. He tweeted me and told me to go to his website and make contact.

March 28, 2013 at 9:03 pmBrilliant shots; but you you also have a way with animals and seem to expose yourself as a dog-lover. Wish someone would publish “Delhi to Mahattan”. Also, compliments on the American accent; I can’t understand 1/3 of what you say normally, listening as an American (and I can even deal with Welsh and Scott accents).

March 4, 2013 at 10:20 pmHello Mr. Paul Blackthorne (Stephen Saunders), your perfomance in 24 was most outstanding I must say. The British accent, perfect! I’m a huge huge fan. Keep it up. You can please send me a mail saying hi.
Cheers!

February 13, 2013 at 7:17 amIt’s such a small world. I stumbled across the Dresden files when i noticed an old friend in them, Terry Mann. I watched some of it and love the series that was unfortunately cut short. I was delighted to learn that it was filmed the same time that I was working with Terry. It’s fun to finally see what it was that he was always running off to that year.
Wish you the best in your career mate. You’re a very intriguing actor.

February 7, 2013 at 8:26 pmI only discovered you were British by one momentary slip in accent at the beginning of episode 10. Well done! Keep it up: I’m really enjoying the series here in Spain. Obviously, I watch it in English, but with subtitles in Spanish for the rest of the tribe.

February 5, 2013 at 9:07 pmHi there Mr. Blackthorne!
I see I’m not the only one who enjoyed the Dresden Files… it would be nice to see more there. I wanted to let you know you are appreciated. I have been enjoying your character on Arrow as well, tho at times he seems a little more disheveled than necessary. My concept is that he is justifiably harrowed by his daughter’s death, etc., but he is still keen … and some of that handsomeness that you have to share should be brought out through it … thanks for having this site

November 8, 2012 at 5:29 amVERY pleasantly surprised to see you on Arrow! I tuned in to the first episode to see if I’d like it and I was sure I would as soon as I saw that you were in it. As a big fan of the Dresden Files books, I was tickled pink to stumble upon the series on Netflix and thought you made a fabulous Harry and was sorry to see that it ended far too soon. While not normally one to give effusive praise, I think I’ll make an exception for you (and from reading the other comments you seem to inspire it in others also! Keep up the great work!

November 7, 2012 at 7:20 pmMr Blackthorne, not sure how much you check this, but i’d still like to say. Like most people on this page I was a great fan of you in the Dresden Files and it came as a nice surprise to see you were a photographer as well. I’m currently in my final year as a student photographer and so I just wanted to say, in my opinion you have some very nice images, especially around the travel documentary point of view! A few images which give a nice insight to different cultures.
Keep up the good work!

November 1, 2012 at 7:57 amWell hello! It was great to get your update in my mailbox and lovely to hear things are going well for you. I’ve enjoyed all the work I’ve seen (I even managed to sit through Langan without a break lol Do short films exist in Indian cinema??) and I’ll certainly be checking out Arrow.
I do miss Harry though, I have to confess. You completely won me over when I thought I couldn’t hear Harry speak without James Marsters voice. You did a super job there as in everything you’ve done. Many congrats on the nuptials as well, I hope you’ll be very happy together for a very long time
All the best my dear!

October 29, 2012 at 8:08 pmHi Paul,
I recently watched The Gates and found it quite amusing that the aliases used by Christian Harper are all names of your previous roles going all the way back to Peak Practice. Very clever!
I haven’t seen all your work but from what I have seen I think producers and directors should trust you with heavier roles.

June 24, 2012 at 6:36 pmJust recently concluded watching you in The Dresden Files on Hulu. I’d seen a few episodes on Sci-Fi when the series originally aired, but not the entire season, until recently. Although a departure from the written series, I enjoyed the on-screen chemistry with “Murphy”. An interesting spin on the detective-type shows. Sorry that the exec’s at Sci-Fi/MGM didn’t renew the series, after the first season. I think the romance angle between Harry & Murphy, would’ve given a new perspective for both plot direction, and series longevity.
Best of luck in your endeavors, and I look forward to your future work…. in all areas.

January 16, 2012 at 7:59 pmPaul,
I only recently discovered your talents by watching Dresden Files on Hulu. I have fallen in love with your acting and if your agent was smart, he would find you a role that you can sink your teeth in again. I am a huge Robert Downey Jr fan and Hugh Laurie. I think you can and will be the next man up and running for an Academy award if you pick the right show to do. Get your self out there and use the gift you were given to share with your fans.
My best wishes for making 2012 your best.

Second, now that Harry Potter is such a success, it might be time to revive the Dresden Files or a similar series with an adult wizard who battles evil.

I shall certainly bookmark the site.
I did wonder if the webmaster might consider doing something especially on Facebook, which can be used as a portal back to this site, and also be useful to advise of updates to this site.

December 23, 2011 at 8:04 pmDear Paul,
If you have received and read my letters, you’ll recall that I yammered on about the book Lonesome Dove. ( I used the mailing address suggested by the ABC site: Culver City Studios. Does that work? If not, I sent a bunch of letters to oblivion.)
I wish to send you a copy of Lonesome Dove. I am on a mission to spread the word and have placed a copy of this book in thousands of hotel bedside tables….Okay, okay, only one hotel bedside table. And I simply forgot it and left it behind, but I’m sure whoever found it is now a believer.
In return I will listen to more instrumental jazz. Maybe. At present I can only tolerate jazz with vocalists.
Anyway– can I have the correct address for such things as books and letters? Thanks and I hope you are happy and well.
Your friend,
Renee
p.s. Despite my jokey manner, you should know — you inspire me. To be a better person.

November 14, 2011 at 8:10 pmThe River = James Bond Opener?
I tend to believe that if the upcoming ABC series titled “The River” does as well as expected, Paul Blackthorne could see an offer to replace Daniel Craig down the line.
Like his photography, Paul never does the same thing twice. This can only end well for Paul in the long run.
